I spent years starting online businesses but never actually “starting” online businesses. I had the concept, the idea, the website, the logo, the marketing plans…… but never actually launch the business.

Apparently, this is called ADHD. lol. Thanks to my later in life diagnosis.

So the idea for this online shop has literally been years in the making. More specifically, in 2021 I began writing the business plan and buying domains. So. Many. Domains. and so many name ideas.

The day I discovered the name Good Fun Tees, was a day spent going back to my “brain dump” pages in my bullet journal (yeah. I know. Nerd alert.) and started writing words in open spaces without reading what was there from previous brainstorms. When I couldn’t find any more space, I stepped back and planned to just look at the page and see what happened. The words “good” and “fun” were coincidently next to each other - almost overlapping.

And it’s really that simple. Once I thought about “good fun” and how I tell my kids to have the “good kind of fun” and to be good humans while having fun, It FINALLY felt like the name of our business.

If there really is a “secret to life”, I believe it involves these things. Doing good and having fun. And I spend so much of my life seeking out both things. It finally felt like time to spread some of my silliness into the world in hopes others like good fun too.
